2018 Music Workshops 2018 Summer piano masterclass

After a successful launch of our Music Workshops in August 2017,we are proud to introduce a brand new series for 2018, jointly created by Ealing Percussion Academy and Janik and Janik Academy.

In its second year we are offering six themed three day workshops between January and August 2018.

These exciting and dynamic experiences are designed to suit children of a variety of levels and ages. The aim is to instill a love of music and performance alongside an appreciation of what hard work and preparation in a fun, group-based workshop can achieve.

THIS WORKSHOP HAS NOW LESS THAN 5 SPACES AVAILABLE.

Each workshop is themed around an exciting ensemble piece (‘Mission Impossible’ or ‘Harry Potter’) which will be learned over the course of the three days and performed in a ‘showcase’ on the final day. The interwoven Samba sessions add an extra, lively element and are, in essence, musical games that will aim to boost creativity and keep the workshop dynamic and the children fully engaged.

The workshops will be led by Mr Ben Gale and Mr Jozef Janik who between them have forty years combined experience in inspirational teaching with the emphasis on making learning music fun.

We would hope that parents and friends will be able to come along to support and applaud the children’s achievements on the last day's performance however, for those who can’t make it, the performance – and the ‘best bits’ from the workshop - will be captured on a short movie which will be distributed at the end of the course.

Our workshops will take place in St. Andrew's Church, which is very conveniently located just minutes’ walk from Haven Green and Ealing Broadway station.
